Kolkata inaugurated the Solar Dome Museum, India’s first museum dedicated to renewable energy, at Eco Park in New Town.This architectural marvel features a 27-meter-high, 45-meter-wide dome powered by over 2,000 solar panels, generating enough electricity to illuminate both the museum’s interiors and the surrounding streetlights. The museum aims to provide an immersive and educational journey into the world of sustainable energy.
