The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya’s (CSMVS) Museum on Wheels programme expanded its catering to the masses in remote areas in the North Indian states of Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan. Set up by the CSMVS in 2015 as part of their outreach for communities in Maharashtra, Museum on Wheels is a travelling initiative that spreads awareness about culture, science, heritage and history, using theme-based exhibits and interactive displays, specially designed for younger audiences. The initiative is also running in the states of Goa, Karnataka and Gujarat.
