National Museum Lends Bronze Masterpieces to Rijksmuseum’s ‘Asian Bronze: 4,000 Years of Beauty’ Exhibition

The National Museum, New Delhi, joined six leading Asian institutions in loaning bronze sculptures and artefacts to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam for the exhibition Asian Bronze: 4,000 Years of Beauty. The show featured over 75 works from countries including China, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan, Nepal and Korea, ranging from statues of deities to ritual and everyday objects, many of which were being displayed in the Netherlands for the first time.
