The Payana Vintage Car Museum located near Mysuru, Karnataka, opened its doors to the public. Established by Dr D. Veerendra Heggade, the museum showcases a curated collection of 69 vintage and classic vehicles, including models from 1925 to the recent models. The exhibits feature a diverse range of automobiles, such as the 1925 Fiat 501, World War II jeeps, and a 1949 Daimler DE 36 that once belonged to the Maharaja of Mysore. The museum's architecture is distinctive, with a building designed to resemble a car tire, reflecting its theme. Located along the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway, the museum is a significant destination for automobile enthusiasts and tourists alike.
