The Kiran Nadar Museum of Art showcased ‘Raghu Rai: A Thousand Lives—Photographs from 1965-2005’, an exhibition that provided a glimpse into the life, travels, and work of critically acclaimed photographer Raghu Rai. Focused on the pre-digital phase of Rai’s career when he used analog or film photography, the exhibition was curated using his vast archives. Concentrating on his black and white photographs, the exhibition presented his long-term interest in photographing political and spiritual leaders, and also traced his practice that evolved at the interstices of his years as a photojournalist.
