The Birla Industrial and Technological Museum in Kolkata inaugurated its Transport Gallery, which traces the historical evolution of ancient to modern transportation, featuring a wide array of exhibits, including 18th century boats to vintage cars and ancient chariots. Using state-of-the-art technology, the newly added gallery aims to educate both history and technology enthusiasts about the innovations and advancements that have taken place in the world of road transport, water transport, railways, aerospace, and also highlights Kolkata’s newly developed underwater metro system.
